Just another day at the office for some. I fiind the bandsaw one unreal. he may have been cut in half but he didn't do it.

Oh come on! There not that bad. Be glad you don't have to smell them. We had a guy playing golf and lost his ball in high weeds. He had a heart attack. No Family so he wasn't missed. We found him when the smell was all over the Course. Full of maggots and busted open. I don't know if he found his ball or not but he had some nice clubs in his bag. Shame to die on a par 3 hole. I looked at his score card and he was -2.
I never had to deal with a hanging death when I was a paramedic. What is the deal with the tongues?

I saw this site before. Forgot all about it! To me, the most disturbing ones are the pictures of the hangings. My best friend shot himself in the forehead on May 9, 2007, but the gun shots don't bother me. I wonder why only the hangings do...

its funny you say that beacuse hanging death fasinate me ..Im not sure why at all...I just fint the whole method so scary.....like the struggle for life because you would struggle....we had a lady here who hung herself and her two babies and for whatever eason its just fasinating to me..also the John Doe who hung himself and no one know who he is.....thats one always got to me too.....

Would you struggle? I always thought your neck breaks and you die instantly. Unless, of course, you rig it up wrong. Either way, it can't be good. *shiver*
I did not take a peek at the site, but here are some suicides that I have been on:
Gunshot (usually to the head, under the chin or in the mouth)
Hanging
Drug OD's
Stabbing themselves
Cutting the arteries in the wrists and bleeding to death
Plastic bag over the head
Plastic bag with helium tanks (thanks Final Exit)
Jumpers of all kinds
I might think of some more.......
I hear some do....I know the ones like the lady in the flower dress I think she is hanging #1 or 2 ..but if you look at her one foot its bent at an angle ..so I think she must of had to lean forward to make the noose tighten..the lady here who did in her two kids feet were still on the ground....and they said she had to lean forward thus causeing pressure on the neck..killing you. The neck only breaks if you drop . Im really no expert though....the kid one is sad to look at.....one of the first few.....the old hanging I find fasinating...also the guy in the boxers was a guy from a movie studio I remeber reading about him before....he was some movie guy and I think his last name was Cohen....I may be wrong.

Yeah, you're right now that I think about it.... like people who kill themselves in prison who have to use their shirt or sheets or whatever. Often (or at least often that I've read) they're sitting down and have to lean forward like you describe. Talk about a will to die. Argh.

I hate this thing. I think it was inteded for terminally ill patients who wanted to speed up the process.
Has anyone ever tried suicide by crucifiction? Its impossible, how are you going to get the last nail in?
