    Dear Rhonda,

I love your blog. You ARE "kinda funny". The thing about meds is great, as is the neighbor stuff. Some dogs are barkers. Too bad you had / have them next door.

I'm sure this has been posted but I don't feel like going thru 2100+ threads. Last picture of Henry Fonda 5 months before his death.

Upthread I posted a link to the 75th Oscar Anniversary which was in 2003 with some 50 past winners.

Here's the 1997 version in two parts. It's interesting to see those who passed in those six years and who didn't show up for the 2003 show. This class includes Shirley Temple, Rod Steiger, and De Niro.

Definitely one of my favorites. What a waste. Too many artists were taken too young.

And Wile's death signaled plummeting sales of products by Acme Inc., eventually resulting in bankruptcy and liquidation of the company. Acme assets went to the highest bidder which was RR International.

This is super interesting. These are NOT celebrities, but the photos are the last ones taken before the people were killed by their murderers. The last photo on the list, Karen Sprinker, was my cousin. http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/b...ers/index.html

One commonality, as a rule, for successful vocalists of Bing's era and before is that they knew how to sing properly, what their range was, their limitations, and how to care for their voice which was their livelihood. To be able to sing as Bing did in that vid two months before his death is a testament.

I agree.....the amount of adjustment they could make in the studio was very minimal. Either you had a voice or you did'nt
To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.

Sad...I love Jim's music. Cool that it had a mini revival because of the Django Unchained soundtrack (at least for my generation)...my mom was a big fan, so I associate it with my childhood.

I've never watched any movies he was in, but he was incredibly handsome. It's sad that he and Roger lost their lives in such an awful way. Hopefully it was quick. I guess they died doing something they loved.

No offense, but he looks a LOT older than 46. Plus, he looks TOTALLY strung out, in that pic. It's sad that he had demons from 23 years ago, which he apparently held at bay, but couldn't conquer, in the end. Rest in peace.

Thank you so much for the link. He was one of my favorite actors of all time, but this part troubled me:

"according to law enforcement sources - who have now launched a city-wide search to catch his drug dealer."

Why is his death more important than the rest of the users who have died from overdosing on drugs? They're not out looking for their dealers.

Just to note.......Recently the Cleveland Ohio area had a rash of heroin OD's. The police did step up their efforts to find the source and did.
