Casper, I love you so much baby boy... waking up with you in the house is a blessing every day! Thank you for filling our home and hearts with so much love, joy, laughter and ever so sweet Sammy smiles! We belong together! XOXOX
I can make the payments for the cost of a pack-a-day cigarette habit.
Normally this is well over 25 dollars but black Friday sales have it at 14.99. Its on its way right now from Amazon.
I didn't take a pic but my recent purchase that WASN'T groceries or lunch at work was scrappy goodness!!! Two packs of 8.5x11 card stock, one pack Christmas reds and greens, the other winter blues, a 9x13 pack of watercolor paper, and a StazOn ink pad. The ink pad will let me stamp images and then watercolor them in without the ink running. I'm too poor to afford the expensive $6/marker Copics, so I get the same effect with wateecolors already in my stash.

Had my two-year eye exam today. These are going to be my new glasses:

On the internet you can be anything you want.
It is strange that so many people choose to be stupid.

Exciting, eh?
Jimmy John's. "Big John," salt and vinegar chips, Diet Coke. My other purchases were more boring: pomegranate EOS lip balm for me, "cake batter" ChapStick for Little Bit, 4 bottles of water flavor drops, a new hairbrush.
Oh, yeah, also got some McCormick's rum and a Mike's Harder Mango Punch for me for New Year's, and a bottle of sparkling grape juice for Little Bit. Was gonna get hubby a beer tomorrow, but I'm not sure if he will be with me or not. He's been staying at his mom's because it's been so cold and she lives closer to where he works.

Needed a new copy after my dog decided to use my old one as a skateboard and send it across the floor.

Now I know I'm getting old.
To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.

OMG!!! I'm not even going to ask how fast the meter is running on the power pole with that on!!!! Jeebus!!! Here's my recent purchase: One of my dream guitars: an exact replica of late Byrds' electric guitarist, Clarence White's, 1954 Fender Telecaster with original prototype B-bender. The original guitar is now owned and played by Marty Stuart:

Very little change in the 'ol electric meter, surprisingly....but that guitar....replica or not blows my recent purchase AWAY!.....wow.....what a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Enjoy it for many years. Many folks don't know that Jimmy Page and Ronny Wood both used the b-bender. It was an amazing piece of technology for something invented in the late '60's. A steel guitar sound with a regular guitar. Just wow

Naw I've actually had the chance to play a guitar with a B-Bender - it sure beats having to press down your B- or G-string behind the nut.
What would be even cooler is a guitar with a B-Bender, a D-tuner and an unwound G string. I find unwound G-strings are much easier on my fingers than wound G-strings.

It's not finished yet - but should be in a week or so. They take about five weeks to build.
Yep, I'm familiar with both Wood and Page's use of the bender. Later on, Gene Parsons invented the G-bender which allows a person to bend both the B & G strings separately or together to truly get a pedal-steel type sound out of the guitar. Jimmy Olander from the country group, Diamond Rio, has used a Glaser B/G bender system for years. Clarence White, of course, was a big influence on him as well. The oddball one to use a bender would be Brad Paisley - he only uses the G bender. His are built by Charlie McVay of Virginia.
Yes, they are!! The best user of a B-bender, IMO, would be the guy who bought Clarence's 1954 Tele - Marty Stuart.
As I mentioned above in one reply, Gene Parsons later on invented the G-bender which allows a person to bend both the B & G strings separately or together to truly get a pedal-steel type sound out of the guitar. You bend the B string the usual way by pulling (not yanking down) on the strap-button. There are two versions: A standard-pull B bender and a "long-pull" B-bender which is more close to the one Clarence had in his guitar. Mine will have the long-pull "B" bender in it along with the extra-thick back.

It looks like the kind of chair used by Cardinal Fang and his cohorts during the Spanish Inquisition.
Does it also come with soft cushions and a nice hot cup of tea?
It really does look VERY comfortable. I would just sit in it and gently murmur "caribou garn" to myself all day. That would be heavenly.
but how many jesters had to die to make that chair
