I found a bunch of dead links and copyright notices when doing a search for Dreams (Celtic Version). It must exist and is surely out there I guess I'm not savvy enough to enter the right search parameters to get through these things. I thought I was better than that - what a blow to my ego. It's a female, solo. If I remember correctly it was studio, electric. As a cover it is really true to the original. It was 2004 - 2008 when I heard it, probably closer to '04 - '06.

I've already located a business contact who has it, but I'm determined to strangle the net to get you a free promo copy. My friend doesn't charge ridiculous prices or anything, it's just I know that with enough patience I can get it legally for free. The problem is I'm not that familiar with Cranberries, so I'm having to go over a "lot" of versions.
Just to help, two more questions: Did it sound like the singer was definitely singing in a non-Modern English language [as opposed to a think accent], and were there any instruments in the background that would lead you to label it Gaelic, such as a type of flute, a violin, or anything that may have *sounded* like an accordion?

I watched a movie in the early 90's..I can't for the life remember the movie..but Siouxie And The Banshees were a background band in the movie and they played a slow song...Siouxie had the pale face and the spiky hair and bangs. I really liked the song and I have searched for several years and can't find it. They were only in one scene, but I think they played the complete song. I have searched her songs and movie/songs for her and can't find it. It is driving me crazy.

Hmmm. They did a song for Batman Returns that was pretty slow. Also, a film called Karniggels that wasn't so popular. The songs were "Face to Face" and "Rhapsody" respectively. In the movie Out of Bounds they did "Cities in Dust" which isn't very slow, but a popular song. And in The Laughing Prisoner they did "The Passenger" which is not at all slow and not a very well known song by them.

To be honest, I Googled to find what you were looking for and Adele came up as a Google result for the name of the song. I've heard of her, but have no idea what she sings. I dislike modern music and only listen to old stuff.

Great song. I don't usually like modern music either but Adele is good. My fave Adele song is 'Set Fire To The Rain'. There's a clip on youtube of her singing it live on a UK talk show called The Graham Norton Show and she's just incredible.
