The original Monster Ballads album is one of my favorites.
Besides... the Red Dwarf posse has to stick together.
Bunch of smegheads in this thread.
Red Dwarf rocks![]()
I have a band that I can't remember the name of for the life of me. From around 1995.They had a song called "Crazy Love" and one called "Fly me free flag" The sounded a little like Clutch. Thier album cover had a naked girl with a American flag painted on her. Any thoughts?
nevermind.. I remember now. thanks
My neighbor was listening to music this weekend and he played this song that I thought was really great. They sang something like I´m gonna...I´m gonna...I´m gonna. It was a up tempo song. I don´t want to ask my neighbor about it , cause I don´t want him to think that I don´t have a life.
Shot in the dark--is this it?

It´s non of those songs. It was an up tempo song. It was men who sang and it didn´t sound like a boy band. He listened to Queen, and this band.
Rock I think with synthesizers.
try "Gonna Creep Up on You" by Thin Lizzy or "Suffer" by the waterboys? Check it out on Yahoo Music. YOu can always try doing a lyric search there and it gives you a 30 second sample of the song. Hopefully you can find it before it makes you crazy! I will keep looking.![]()

Could it be Oh Darling by Supertramp?
http://www.last.fm/music/Supertramp/_/Oh+Darling
Wait a second and the player will pop up.
I can´t do that, I´m such a coward when it comes to stuff like asking people something or complaining, for instance I ordered chicken curry from a restaurant near me last week and the chicken was drenched in salt. But I didn´t go back and told them or demanded another chicken curry.

I'm with RaRa. I wouldn't make up a complaint or lie. But if they screwed my food up?--I'll be as nice as pie but they will fix it AND offer me something free.
Or their district management will. Their call.
Could it possibly be the one by the proclaimers... I would walk 500 miles? Another band redid it in a rave type mix with and such thier name is...Scottish clubland. that song has alot of I'm gonna's in it....
It sort of sounds like a song by hellogoodbye.
You've got everyone here stumped. You've also gotten some good suggestions but the only person who can answer this question is your neighbor.
I don't understand what is so confrontational or negative at all about asking someone what song they were playing?
yea come on now we ALL want to know what song it was! what's your neighbors phone number, let us give them a call lol jk
LOLOLsa. Ring Ring!
I have severe Social Anxiety and if I can ask somebody something, you can.![]()
It's called "Go Wrong" & I remember it being a b side to maybe "She Talks to Angels." It's awesome & I'd love to find it. I've looked everywhere.
Is this it?:
And if you feel that you can't go on. And your will's sinkin' low
Just believe and you can't go wrong.
In the light you will find the road. You will find the road
Oh, did you ever believe that I could leave you, standing out in the cold
I know how it feels 'cause I have slipped through to the very depths of my soul.
I just wanna show what I'd give you it is from every bend in the road
Now listen to me
Oh, whoa-whoa, as I was and really would be for you, too, honey
As you would for me, oh, I would share your load.
Let me share your load. Ooh, let me share, share your load
And if you feel that you can't go on
In the light you will find the road
Though the winds of change may blow around you, but that will always be so
When love is pain it can devour you, if you are never alone
I would share your load. I would share your load
Baby, let me, oh, let me
In the light
Everybody needs the light.
In the light, in the light, in the light
Light, light, light, in the light
Light, light, light, in the light, ooh, yeah
Light, light, light, in the light
I didn't see any torrent files for it, so this may be a case of it not being released on an album. Strange as that sounds, I heard the same thing about the Led Zepplin song, "Hey, Hey, What Can I Do?" (close enough on the title, you know the one.) This was just the other day on the radio. With how often you hear that song, youda thunk it'd been released as part of collection before. But they said no. MIght be the same kinda thing, is my best guess. Sorry.
.
is this it?
Black Crowes Lyrics
Lifevest
Written by: R. Robinson & C. Robinson
Headaches, heartaches
windfalls and pitfalls
They pay what they pay
Car crash, talk trash
Bloodbaths and witchcraft
If that's what you see
How can I make somethin' so wrong somethin' so right
How can I make somethin' so wrong somethin' so right
Shipwreck, lifevest
You swim to shore
Or you sink away
Mistake, bad take
Just spit it out
And it goes away
How can I make somethin' so wrong somethin' so right
How can I make somethin' so wrong somethin' so right
How can I make somethin' so wrong somethin' so right
How can I make somethin' so wrong somethin' so right

Thanks guys. That sucks. You would think everything could be found now days. Where is that dusty Goldmine??
ETA: No Fin, that's not it either. Good find though. I suspect this may have been a one time live song; they used to (and probably still do) write a song, play it once or twice, & never try it again. It was really good though.
the only other thing l can think of is, have a look at this cd compilation of their unreleased stuff.
