Rest in Peace Ruth,I read A story on her a few years ago she was so much more than I knew ... https://www.thatericalper.com/2025/0...ut-ruth-buzzi/
Loved her on "Laugh In". I also remember her as playing Chloe, Henry's wife, on the TV show "Alice".
"So many faces in and out of my life. Some will last, some will just be now and then. Life is a series of Hellos and Goodbyes, I'm afraid it's time for Goodbye again. "
Goodbye, Home-Girl!

Ruth's pretty good in a movie called (believe it or not) My Mom's a Werewolf, which is on Youtube. She has several scenes where she plays "Madame Gypsie - Fortunes Told, Palms Read" with another sign underneath that which states "Notary Public". It parodies and pays homage to horror movies.
Susan Blakely (a la Larry Talbot) slowly transforms into a werewolf off and on throughout the movie, only there's no Maria Ouspenskaya to tell her what's happening from the start. In one scene Susan's in a ladies' hair salon and starts to sprout wolf hair all over. The other patrons aren't scared - oh, no! They just reassure her she's going through menopause and offer her all sorts of medical advice to cope with it. I believe Marcia Wallace is the owner of the salon - any movie with Ruth Buzzi AND Marcia Wallace has to be seen.
rest well
