Being from the UK I only really knew him because of his guest appearances in The Big Bang Theory but have seen a few bits and bobs since and he was a funny guy.

I grew up watching Bob Newhart. The funniest thing was for him to say something in such a calm way with his stammer. He once described the Hokey Pokey. It was hilarious. I will miss Bob. He was on my Celebrity Death Pool for obvious reasons, but I will miss him.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
