    Joe's passing doesn't shock me. What does is the cause of death which was ALS. I know we don't get to choose how and why we die but....I pray that ALS is one thing I never have to deal with. Diabetes & the neuropathy that comes with it is enough to drive a person crazy.

    Rest in peace, Joe. You will be missed!! Also, William Lee Golden lost his son this past week.

    I saw the Oak Ridge Boys in concert a few times in the early 1980s. Joe was my favorite. He was a good natured, always smiling, high voltage energy kind of guy onstage.
