    Dickie Betts, as well as Ginger Baker and Johnny Winter, makes one wonder how someone who massively abused drugs managed to make it to 80.

    Most ironic of all was Dickey being fired over chronic drug abuse ....then proceeding to outlive every one of the original band members (except Jaimoe).
