2. He was "only" 88.
Even when I was just a kid I remember Steve and Eydie being all over TV all the time.

I did like Steve Lawrence. He and Edie made such a lovely couple. Being the age that I am, I remember him on the Carol Burnett Show. Losing so much of my entertainment from my childhood.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

More memories from childhood, I remember always seeing him and Eydie on all the variety shows like Ed Sullivan. Those days are long gone! RIP Steve.
Today you could be standing next to someone who is trying their best not to fall apart. So whatever you do today, do it with kindness.

He wasn't really known in the UK but I've been watching The Carol Burnett Show on YT at the moment. One of the last clips Iwatched was Steve playing a really good send up of Columbo but his name was Cobumble and it was really funny.
