A very funny lady. I remember her from The Lucy Show, The Incredible Mr. Limpet as Don Knotts' wife and the grandmother to Molly Ringwald in Sixteen Candles. RIP Carole

I remember her from several Murder, She Wrote episodes. Didn't she appear on the stage as a singer?

I knew her from watching Sixteen Candles, she played the rich grandmother, I can still see that scene where her and the other grandma are in the kitchen, and Carole's character is standing watching the other grandma cooking and has this long cigarette ash about to fall into the frying pan, the other grandma is using the spatula to try to catch the ash if it falls, Carole's character grabs a box of store bought donuts and uses a butter knife to open them and says "Breakfast is done" or something like that.
