    Christine McVie 79

I don't know how to cut and paste a link on my new android but the news was announced on her twitter page.

Died in hospital after a short illness. I wonder if it was cancer?

My favorite lead singer of Fleetwood Mac. Liked her better than Stevie! RIP Songbird...

I hoped this was just another hoax when I heard it but sadly it wasn't.

I grew up loving them and passed it on to my niece. We had a pact that if they ever toured the UK again, it didn't matter how much it cost, we would be there....

"Short illness" is usually code for a heart attack.

Loved her vocals on "You Make Lovin' Fun" as well as "As Long As You Follow". And now a new generation seems to be discovering Christine McVie via that Chevy commercial playing "Everywhere".

    May she RIP!

I much favored her over Stevie as well but prefer the Peter Green/Bob Welch era (Christine Perfect was part of a lot of that incarnations' output)
