Freddy's! Gonna get me a California Double and some fries. I only wish that the burger patty edges weren't so crispy here. It's 93 degrees here today. I wish it was cooler, so I could order a half and half concrete. I'm having my order delivered by Doordash. By the time the concrete would get here, from Freddy's, it would be soup!

That's exactly why I don't order custard or ice cream via DoorDash. I've had decent luck with shakes from Steak and Shake (and they have a Nutella shake). But anything else? Yeah no.

Last night Wifey-to-be used her credit from DD and ordered us Applebee's. They have a two-entree deal, so she got a steak and I had a cheeseburger, and we split chips and spinach dip.

Pancheros. It's like Chipotle, but a bit cheaper and not as good.

Our annual summer BBQ at my condo. Char broiled steaks, chicken, beef burgers and all kinds of salads. Always a treat!

Ria that sounds amazing, Mansfield I would have made my elcaire cake and added it all that food. I haven't had a good bbq in a long time. Last night we had a store bought stuffed crust pizza.

Having a frozen Home Run Inn pizza. And yes, like Ria says, I cooked it first. I used to be a Mama Celeste girl, but Home Run Inn is so much better. It has a lot of cheeeeese. Stretches when you try to eat it, just like on a restaurant pizza does.

I looooove Home Run Inn Pizza! And yeah it's always best to cook it first. Unfortunately Wifey-to-be can't eat tomato sauce and it's just too much pizza for me. *sigh*

You should see if you can find it!

I have no clue what's for dinner. Wifey-to-be texted me after she left for work and asked me to thaw out chicken and she'd make dinner. But I don't know what she's going to make. If she's too tired, I'll step up and make something. If I do it, it will be chicken, rice, and broccoli.

Ria, I'll try to see if I can find that pizza. We did a movie day and ate popcorn, we made it in a paper bag in the microwave, have done this many times, hubby went to make more used the same bag , all of a sudden I look over and see flashes of yellowish orange flashing lights, like a zapping,in the microwave, I run over and open the door the bag was on fire and mostly ashes, luckily we put it out and welph that will be the last time we do the paper bag popcorn, we'll just do it on the stove top the old fashioned way, then later on he made a grilled cheese with pickles for me.

Yep think it was the paper bag. I made my homemade mac and cheese for dinner, then later I drank a smoothie. Tonight I am not sure. Ria I love chicken and rice, I add some better than bullion chicken paste (like chicken broth but so much better) to it.

sounds amazing, Synny. For lunch I made healthy nachos, took bell peppers, cleaned them and cut them to make like a "boat", fried up some lean ground turkey seasoned it with garlic powder and onion salt, spread that on top of the peppers, added a handful of cheddar cheese shredded, and shredded mozzarella cheese baked in preheated oven at 400 for eight mins, plated it after it was done added some sour cream and salsa. I can't have onions or jalapenos anymore.

Thanks for the quickie recipe pk, I know what I am making for the weekend! I will switch the turkey for ground beef though, and I love sour cream.

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, or as you Canadians call it, Kraft Dinner, and some Steak Fries. I add a slice of American cheese on top of the mac and cheese. It's all about the cheese, for me. A Carb O Rama Saturday night fest for me tonight.

yikes sassy, sorry to hear that, you could eat mac and cheese, mashed taters, smoothies, scrambled eggs. I am not sure what we are having, I don't have spoons (energy) to do anything, and hubby has a Toastmaster meeting tonight. I'll see if he will pick up a frozen pizza.

Yikes I hope you feel better soon!! I may have to get a tooth pulled again. I actually had dental work done for the first time almost a year ago right before my 40th and I was scared outta my mind!! Lol

We had garlic and basil steak bites, baked potatoes and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. My best friend made it in the kitchen here at the hotel. Was sooo good but now I'm paying for it my tooth is killing me

ohh that sounded good Ria, well yesterday we went to Arby's, I haven't left the apartment for three months (yay agoraphobia and being depressed and grieving ) I got three roast beef sliders and fries. Tonight hubby made turkey burgers, no bun, and potatoes. I may have to take over cooking, when I cook it would have been turkey burgers, green beans, salad and potatoes, or Chicken, with steamed carrots, mashed taters and rolls. Hubby only cooks just a couple of things...or sometimes he will just make burgers and nothing else and call it dinner.

She made the mushrooms but was too tired to make the soup. They were amazing. She's an excellent cook. But so am I, so we eat very well.

Tonight? No clue. We will probably just snack while we drink.

I ended up making ramen. I do a lot with it, since it's one of the foods I'm guaranteed to eat and it's affordable to always keep on hand. Tonight I did a roast chicken ramen and I added pepper, garlic, a pinch of onion powder, 2 eggs, and the last of the shredded gouda cheese. Even wifey-to-be said it smelled good. She made microwave nachos.

Ate at Pride. Shared some BBQ pulled pork nachos with wifey-to-be, and I had the San Quentin burger. It's a double cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, avocado spread, and Provolone cheese. My favorite burger.
