Flat wings and crinkle-cut fries from some new place Sissy ordered from via Doordash. And Diet Coke, of course, of course. Thier wings have more meat on them than any I've ever eaten.

Cheeseburger, fries, and ice water with cherry blackberry MIO. Since I quit drinking alcohol, I've started drinking more water. Oh I still love my coffee and my Diet Dr Pepper and Diet Coke, but I've been drinking more water than I used to.

Frozen pizza....yes I cooked it first.

Got some "Flare" spicy peanuts made by Takis to try, I'll do a taste-test TikTok tomorrow. Wow. I didn't plan on THAT alliteration. LOL Our bread guy at work brings us treats all the time. Comes in and says, "I've got hot nuts for y'all today!" I almost unalived right there on the spot, and said, "No comment. I'm trying this thing where I behave today."

He brought several flavors of Takis chips a couple of weeks back and I did a taste test TikTok. Of course I showed the kids, and Schmoo told me which order to try them in, from least spicy to most spicy.

Due to the heat, a cold supper. Black Forest ham, potato salad, a couple of hard boiled eggs, 4 dill pickles and a ice cold bottle of Mott's Garden Cocktail. Same on Monday. Lol.

Last night ended up being Taco Bell, because my dinner was on the grocery order. WalMart's delivery now accepts PayPal so I was able to go back to using WalMart's delivery again. BUT they were out of bread AND they were late. I had to do a second, smaller order with HyVee via DoorDash for bread.

Tonight, butter garlic chicken breast, twice-baked potato, and a Greek olive and feta salad. Added those to my HyVee order so I could have enough for free delivery.

It was cindy! I am having it again tonight this time with a chickpea salad with a recipe I got online. I add whatever leftover meat I have, it's a meal in itself! https://www.spendwithpennies.com/chickpea-salad/

Your dinner sounds lish. Some businesses and delivery people just want to make that tip and that check. I started ordering my groceries from Walmart two weeks ago, and save about $30. They were terminally booked in Athens, home of UGA/Bulldogs, pop over 100,000, which may be why. Here in Commerce the pop is like 8,000 people I didn't have a problem. I'm going to keep Publix for a couple weeks and then dump them.

I don't eat chickpeas unless I accidently buy 4 bean sald instead of 3 bean. Lol.

Not quite sure yet. Either hot dogs or chicken sandwiches, with pretzels and the rest of my feta and olive salad from the other night.

ETA, because I saw this AFTER I posted:

Thanks! It was good! I don't "subscribe" to any delivery service BUT DoorDash. So when I order from HyVee or Walmart I'm paying a delivery fee. HyVee is usually $10, Walmart if I'm willing to wait six hours the fee is only $8. Since I have DD's DashPass for free delivery, I'd rather that $10 go to the Dasher themselves.

I usually do my grocery shopping via DoorDash, because HyVee is on DD. But sometimes they're having a good enough sale that it's worth it to either pay the delivery fee OR stop after work and pay for the Uber home. When I DD groceries I'll usually split it up in two orders to make it easier on the Dasher.

Walmart wasn't as late as I thought they'd be, I'd chosen 7pm-8pm delivery time, and it came about 8:30. But with Walmart I never know HOW late they're gonna be and I was hungry so ordered food.

Sissy cooked up meatloaf, potato salad, doctored canned green beans, and there was Edward's frozen key lime pie (I let it thaw before I ate it.), and Diet Coke.

Cheeseburgers, pretzels, and ice cream. I know, I know, since working at Freddy's I don't eat much ice cream. But HyVee had Ben & Jerry's for $2.88. That's damn near unheard of. I got 2. Tiramisu and Salted Caramel Core.

Fried fish, okra, French fries, Diet Coke. I manage half of one piece of fish, okra and FF. Sissy gave me the rest of potatoes, so I'll have leftovers tomorrow night and a sandwich Wednesday or so.

Cindy, thank you, not really but I'll get there, I may have left over spaghetti squash, I had a BLT for breakfast and then a peanut butter granola bar from Trader Joes, a few hours later, or I may make some homemade mac and cheese for dinner before I go for my walk tonight.

Sounds like you are getting there, though, pk.

Leftover tilapia in a sandwich with romaine and cherry tomatoes, fries, Diet Coke. I'm going to try the white fish next time she orders from that place. The tilapia was too thin and not so tasty by itself, but the sandwhich for breakfast this morning was great.

Taco Bell, soon as it gets here. Should be within the next 5 minutes or so....they have a new tea, a "sparkling dragon tea." I'm assuming it's a dragonfruit but boy is it good. I'm picky about my tea, and my drinks altogether. Tea must be iced and sweet, pops must be diet.

Some wags will question having Diet Coke and sugar, but I understand. If you have a sugar budget, you spend it on the good stuff and drink Diet Coke.
