Tulsa Race Massacre - June 1/1921

I have to try and find a book about this. I am not that familiar with it.

There are books listed under the In popular culture>Literature at the bottom of the wiki page.

    It rings a bell.

As a current resident in the Tulsa metro, I’m glad this is getting recognition. A tragedy that never should have happened. And also, that part of town could use economic revitalization, which may come if Black Wall Street gets its due as a historical district.

They treated my fellow African Americans badly and had no remorse for it. They deliberately took these people's well built lives and destroyed them behind a rumor and they were never able to recover and this still breaks my heart. A little known fact is that they did this nasty behavior all across the US and never paid for it.

Greetings fellow Tulsan. I agree with everything you said. Their Juneteeth party is second to none.
