I believe it wasn't posted before but singer Lloyd Price passed away on May 6th. He had a couple of hits in the late 1950s, early 1960s. His most famous song, probably, his more enduring, would be Lawdy Miss Clawdy, because some guy from Tupelo, Ms, covered it.

Guess what the title to Lloyd Price's autobiography was? "The True King of the Fifties: The Lloyd Price Story." It is my pleasure to open this thread for the mere sake of pinpointing to the guy's lucidity about his own career.
