This one comes as a shock. Nothing like the Motown sound, thanks Mary for all the music of my lifetime. RIP.

So sorry to hear about Mary. I played some Supremes this morning.

Sad to hear about her death, remember that Diana Ross treated
    Florence Ballard (1943-1976) very bad.
    RIP the Supremes.

The only time I bothered to watch Dancing with the Stars was when she was on. How the F*CK did someone as talented as she was get eliminated first? Did Trump toady Sean Spicer dance that much better than her? She had decades of experience of being onstage, not just standing there motionless while singing. And she was the first to get voted off. Unf*ckingbelievable.
I seem to recall reading years ago that she chose to drive herself and her son to safety out of L.A., after the 1/17/94 earthquake. On 1/31 her car crashed, injuring her; her son died.
