    Dena Dietrich "Mother Nature"

For those of us who are of a certain age, she's remembered as "Mother Nature" in the Chiffon margarine commercials. Honestly thought she had passed away a long time ago.

Back in the 90's she served as my inspiration for an Earth Day poster I was coerced into creating at work: Mother Nature (her floral crown askew) surrounded by tons of garbage. She's on the ground trying to get up. Throwing in the Med-alert-button concept, I came up with the slogan "Mother Nature's fallen and she can't get up". Was I being facetious ? Hell yeah! Since I received no help coming up with a concept, creating it, etc., I cared naught for what any potential critics thought. You don't like it, I'll tear my poster up and you can create a poster of your own.......

That commercial is likely lurking in my deep memory; I'll have to YouTube it later.

I'd love to see that poster.

That's an interesting one and I suppose something to be remembered for. I certainly remember the commercial.

As in, "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature"?
    RIP, Dena.

    Oh, I loved those commercials.
