    Fred Willard. RIP

Some reports I've seen has shown 85, some 86. He had a good run. Seems he has been around forever and made most anything he was in, better.

Fernwood Tonight should have lasted longer than it did.

Loved Fred Willard. He was very funny. I know that his wife passed recently.

One of those great comic actors who never won an Emmy and should have. He was excellent in Christopher Guest's films. RIP.

According to a tweet from his daughter. Hope Mulbarger, she said Willard died at "the fantastic age of 86". So I'll go with her. Mr. Willard was great in most everything and was hilarious on "Everybody Loves Raymond", for which he was Emmy nominated three times and never won.

    May he RIP.

Willard was amazing. I'd watch movies and shows just because I knew he was i them. Has anyone seen Family Tree on HBO? It ran for one season (unfortunately, because it was brilliant and should have continued), and was a Christopher Guest show. Fred had a bit part in it and he was fantastic.

Just watched him on an old episode of Friends... This seemed so sudden until I learned he was in his 80's...
