I don't think he ever fully recovered from that tiger protecting him a few years ago.

I watched a special on 20/20 a couple of weeks ago about these two. I think the tiger got confused with how Roy had led him on the stage and then when Roy tripped and fell on stage, the tiger saw his chance and pounced on him and was dragging him away to start eating him. I don't think he was having a stroke or whatever they were trying to cover it up with. If they would admitted to what really happened, that tiger would have been put down in an instant and their show would have been shut down and then their zoo would have been evicted from the hotel grounds. It was all CYA on their parts...JMO.

As entertaining as they could be, I still think wild animals belong in their natural habitat.
