I can't read the article - it doesn't like my ad blocker.
But two things come to mind:
1. Asking people at a time of grief if it's OK to sell their loved one's body parts would be kind of insensitive.
It could be argued that they were simply being considerate by not seeking permission.
2. I wonder what kind of pricing they had and if they still have anything available.
