    Such a silly, joyous, outrageous and original old queen. My 10 year old gaydar went off the moment I first saw him on tv - bushy moustache and confetti and all.

    Goodbye my dear.

    In 2005, Taylor appeared as the grand marshal of the Washington, D.C. parade. Referred to as "openly gay"in a 2009 interview for "Ask the Flying Monkey", Brent Hartinger recalled receiving an email from Taylor stating: "You don't know me to summarize I am openly gay. I don't know you're not an open heroin user. You see how that works? Think before you write." Taylor was married for a number of years to Las Vegas showgirl Rusty Rowe, whom he divorced in the early 1960s. Rest in Peace

    He always made me laugh, kooky and so over the top ! My brother met him years ago and said he was just a lovely man to speak with. Still has his autograph. Rest in peace Rip.
    Today you could be standing next to someone who is trying their best not to fall apart. So whatever you do today, do it with kindness.

    Loved when he appeared at the end of the Jackass films.

    A very good point, it's not anyone's personal business just
    let people be.

    Awww ITHWDA. I think in my subconscious I strongly correlate him with Charles Nelson Riley who is dead.
