Two people in three years isn't exactly an epidemic.
Those folks may well have choked on anything given their ages and states of health.

Yeah, but still; we probably need a President's Commission study of "Grilled Cheese Sandwiches And Elderly Mortality Rates" or something like that, here in the States anyway. I'm sure we could find some former executives from the cheese-bread-butter-mayo industries who would be glad to head it up using scientific methods like rolling dice or rock-paper-scissors; that sort of thing. We've certainly got the resources now that we know the environment isn't in any danger.
I just bet there could just be a connection between really, really old people, eating grilled cheese sandwiches, and mortality.
And they probably need to look at past history too - does eating grilled cheese sandwiches earlier in life later result in death?
This could be to the 21st century what eating eggs was to the 20th.
Science may have put the scourge of egg-eating behind us and made it safe in our modern world, but their work is not done.
