    Director Stanley Donen has died. He was 94, 2 months shy of his 95th.
    In Hollywood he was often referred to as the King Of The Musical.
    Some of the many films he directed includes:

    ROYAL WEDDING
    SINGING IN THE RAIN
    SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS
    KISMET
    DAMN YANKEES
    CHARADE
    ARABESQUE

    His first wife Jeanne Coyne later married Gene Kelly; his second wife Marion Marshall was a former girlfriend of the director Howard Hawks and later married the actor Robert Wagner; his third wife Adelle, Countess Beatty was the second wife of the 2nd Earl Beatty and his fourth wife Yvette Mimieux was a successful actress. He leaves behind three children.

    the in Memoriam this year.
