...And he was rumored to be the father of Patty Duke's son, Sean Astin (when she was 22 and he was 17). I remember their affair being hot stuff in the movie magazines back then, with Mama Lucy NOT pleased! I'm still not sure I'm buying the official "John-Astin-and-I-had-a-secret-affair-and-then-later-we-got-married" story that Patty put out. I think it could have been a face-saver. I like Sean, though, he seems to be a nice family man himself, with a nice little career going.

Desi Arnaz Jr. dated Liza Minnelli for 3 years in the 70's
I hate to say this but to me Sean looks more like Desi Jr. He looks nothing like John. Even though the years have gone by I still say Hmm ?
Desi Jr. also dated Victoria Principal, who dated Andy Gibb, Frank Sinatra, Anthony Perkins & Max Baer Jr, just to name a few!
Sean Connery was on some talk show and admitted that he hits women, and says that they deserve it when they get out of line. I lost all my respect for him after that. Myself, being a victim of physical abuse years ago, there's just no excuse for that shit, I don't care if you ARE James Freakin' Bond.
Well Christopher Haden-Guest's possible title was Baron but he rejected it because he didn't like how titles were dispersed (nepotism and favoritism) by the House Of Lords.
Christopher Guest is also an American of English background (born in NYC).
Any Baron title was purely ceremonial and had no real meaning. Basically it's a whole bunch of insignificance in regards to who Christopher Guest is and what he is about.
Gotta admit, though. Desi, Jr. had some nice feathered hair going in those pics with Ms. L.
Bobby Darrin had a similar upbringing like Jack Nicholson. He thought his grandmother was his mom and his mother was his sister. Apparenly when he was thinking about running for a political office his sister/mother told him the truth and it's said that knowing this contributed to his death in 1973.

Ryk Mayal got his wife and mistress pregnant at the same time. He ran off with his mistress and wife miscarried due to the shock. Bastard.
Ryk Mayall from the Young Ones? I couldnt imagine him impregnating anyone. I guess Im associating his character from the show with his private life. Weird.

I like when he tried to commit suicide on the toilet but just fell in thinking to himself how embarrassing it would be if anyone saw. Then the cut to two old ladies on a bus saying how embarrassing that must be for him while looking through the open bathroom window.

That would probably be him.
He was so funny.
Here's a couple:
Bernardo Bertolucci wanted Marlon Brando and Maria Schneider to actually have sex on film in "Last Tango in Paris". She was agreeable, but Brando convinced him that "our sexual organs will become the focus of the film", and no one would pay any attention to the story.
There are no publicly available pictures of Richard Simmons when he was fat.
Dan Ackroyd has six toes on one of his feet.
Steve Forrest and Dana Andrews were brothers.
Frank Sinatra despised Bobby Darin. (And a host of others, I'm sure). Also, Frank's nickname for Johnny Mathis was "The African Queen".
The ZZTopp guitar players were offered a million dollars each to shave their beards for a commercial, but refused.

This is his brief appearance in Fellinis Satyricon.

I can't beleive no one's mentioned this one. The hospital bill for Julia Roberts birth was paid for by Martin Luther King Jr.

Pretty common one Michael Nesmith's (The Monkees)Mother invented liquid paper .

Anne Heche used to do Steve Martin, but I guess that's not a big surprise.
