Hi all Ive been reading the thread and like everyone else have been waiting for someone to find the footage. I googled japanese footage of faces of death. The first website that I clicked on said that the original japanese title was "Junk"

My cats destroyed my DVD player last week. Jerked it off the TV, and it hit the hardwood floor and flew apart.
So, Movie Madness, which is, like, the largest obscure movie rental store in the US, is in Portland. I just did a title search and they do not have a movie for rental titled "Bizarre Deaths." I am inclined to believe that if that video existed, they would have it. (Really. They have everything.) Are we sure that's the correct title?

The 'Bizarre Deaths' movie is for sale at Bluelips for $40. Most of the real death videos that were on VHS never made the transition to DVD. That's why they are so hard to find. I don't imagine a person could just walk in to a video store today and find it. If the Chris Chubbuck footage was on a Japanese movie release, that had that scene deleted in the U.S., somebody must have made copys of it, and distributed it here in the U.S. because A LOT of people have seen it here. Sounds like illegal bootlegging to me but I dunno.

Yep. Pretty darn clear. Movie Madness obviously likes to stay on the good side of the FBI and has declined to carry that video. However... they do have a DVD titled: Junk, which is under: Japanese Horror dated 1999. It is non-rated and does not say if it is a documentary or fiction film.That clear it up?
Do we think this may be one that has it?
I've never heard of it but it's worth checking into. I say we check out all leads till we have nowhere to go with it.

Has anybody here heard of 90day Jane? She has a website that she claimed was her last 90 days alive ,and the last day she would kill herself. It seems she was trying to parallel Christine Chubbuck's suicide. She didn't actually kill herself but I thought her reference to CC to be quite odd. Google 90day Jane and you can read all about it. It seems Christine Chubbuck has a legacy that will live on.

A lot of people don't realize how valuable that footage could be. As we all know....us death hags are in a class all our own. I bet if the right people knew how much it was worth they would sell it in a heartbeat. It would be ironic if somebody found it because of the stir we're making over it, and tried to get a mint off it.

He'll wear those astronaut diapers that Dixie orders for him on the interweb & enter the warehouse in a blaze of glory like Jon Bon Jovi. I gotta think that if that footage is really out there, it would have already made it's way onto video or you tube- or DVD ...somewhere.
I mean- folks out there know thw the value and/or the availability of such things. I know I was always able to get the banned stuff I always wanted ....somebody- a collector- is always out there, and usually willing to help another collector...
and it can't be that way only in the music or toy community!
But see I also have seen the video with Lupe Valez and also Albertt Derkkler as well and no one can find that and unless these were fakes ( I dont think so ) I have seen all this in one of these videos back in the early 90s....so my point is none of us can find these pics or footage but I know for a fact its out there someplace..Ive seen the one of Lupe and the one of Albert ....Ive seen both woth my own eyes!!...so who is to say the Christine video is not out there ? Im keeping open minded....
