You Tube Star Murdered for Insulting Mexican Drug Lord

Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales was a YouTube blogger who was also popular on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

He posted a video insulting the Mexican Drug lord Nemesio Cervantes a well known Cartel Boss who is one of Mexico's most wanted and has a $5 million bounty on his head as well as reportedly having links to El Chappo. In the video, Juan says 'El Mencho a mÃ* me pela la verga' which is roughly translated to El Mencho can suck my cock.

On Monday night he was tracked to a club where he was with friends and a bunch of guys rushed into the place and shot it up. He was shot 15-18 times and had to be identified by his tattoos. An employee was also killed in the attack.

There are reports that he was drunk when he made the video and reportedly also foresaw his own death as he recently photoshopped himself onto the last photo was taken of Tupac Shakur when he died.

There are uncensored pics but I couldn't find them. This is one that's been blurred but those who saw them said unsurprisingly, he was a mess.

Darwin Award winner indeed. My first thought was, "guess he should have kept his fat trap shut". Not that it makes it right to murder someone but taunting a Mexican drug lord? Beyond stupid.

I started searching for some uncensored pics - haven't found much yet.
I didn't realize until then that the guy was only 17 years old.

I found this vid - I have no idea what it's about - youngsters doing stuff - presumably Mexican youngsters doing Mexican youngster stuff.
At about the 8 minute mark they show the same photo (without the blurring) that shellc posted; followed by one more from a different angle and a little closer up.

If I had to guess, I'd say that this kid is, in fact; dead...

JimC, that video that you posted of the kids, the guy at the start of the video, is the one that was just killed. I think that was his last video if you look at the shirt at the start of the video then at the death pic it's the same shirt. Okay My neighbor who is Mexican, just told me yep the guy at the start of the video, that you get a few seconds glimpse of is the one that was killed, this was his very last video, they were all getting ready to go to the club hanging out at his house before hand, just a few hours later he was killed.

OK - now I'm left wondering if the kid's comments in the video offended the honor of the Mexican drug lord; or if he just seriously offended somebody's sense of style.
That's a damned ugly shirt; and it just might have gotten him killed.

True. When the story was first reported they were saying he was that much of a mess he was only able to be identified by his tattoos and were really gory but as you say there is nothing there. Sure his face was doing it's best impression of swiss cheese but still apart from a few holes, it wasn't too much damage.

I get it now - I thought my picture of the armless, blood-spurting Black Knight was a little too graphic; I guess it was your pic of the dead kid still clutching that really, really blood soaked blue checkered bag\pouch that he was also holding in the still alive picture.

That pouch did look hideous.
I thought the kid looked fairly pristine for somebody who had just been shot 15 times.
