Poor old Moonie... As I recall it, he'd taken his usual handful of pills, then flaked. But, instead of being out for the usual ten or twelve hours, he woke after a very short sleep, saw the time, and thought he'd slept far longer then he actually had, so took another handful of the pills...

Pete Townshend remembered that the preview screening of "The Kids Are Alright" shortly before his death depressed Keith - seeing himself go from a great-looking young guy to a fat old man on-screen in the space of a couple of hours....

36 years ago today. RIP Dear Boy
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.

There are two dates in time they will carve on your stone, and everyone knows what they mean, but what's more important is the time that is known, in that little dash there in between.

Keith Moon vs Steve McQueen. They were neighbors back in the 1970s and didn't get along

That book (“Moon”) would make for an incredible movie.

I love that photo of Moon in his bumper car, insanely gripping the wheel.

True, since he killed a person when behind the wheel of a car.(Neil Boland 1970)

I??m keeping the playful image separate from his backing over and killing poor Cornelius.
His behavior and statements after that fateful incident point to the acceleration of his self destruction.
