To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.

    He
really was. I thought I heard years and years ago that he had an austistic son.

He did seem like such a nice guy. That is why it is so strange to have seen him as one of the killers on "Murder She Wrote." That is what defines a great actor.

He wrote a book about the struggles he and his wife had raising an autistic son. The book was published in 1989 so I believe this was in the 70s. I didn't read the book but a friend of mine did and told me about it. Apparently he and his wife really went through a lot because of the time period and not much being known about autism at that time. If I remember correctly, the friend told me that in the book he talks about being told to institutionalize his son but neither he nor his wife wanted that. Has anyone here read it? I'm going from my memory of being told about it. I can't even remember who told me it's been that long ago.

I saw William Christopher and Jamie Farr years ago in the stage version of The Odd Couple. That was a lot of fun. RIP William Christopher.

I was really sad to hear about William Christopher's passing....Although I don't recall him much on anything else he was the part of the glue of the show. Maybe he was on a Love Boat or something like that I thought. I had also heard he had a son with issues and people didn't understand the problems of it. Very sad, hopefully, people are more aware these days about such thing. RIP Father.
