What? I read he was not well at all. Rest in peace John Glenn.
He was 95 and had a movie made about him. One can't really be too upset here.
RIP big guy.
Semper Fi brother. RIP
John Glenn has past away. He was the first US Astronaut to orbit the Earth.
In Loving Memory of Timothy Houdek, October 22, 1969 - January 8, 2013
My awesome dad: Harry Houdek, September 8, 1933 - November 20, 2013
Words can't convey how much I miss you both. RIP with love.
I woke up from a nap and saw this on my home page. Not a total surprise but still a sad hit. These gentlemen were incredibly brave to go up into space what was considered high tech for the day. He lived his life full throttle. RIP John Glenn.
The Seven are together again.

Stay in Drugs. Eat your School. Don't do Vegetables.
Just saw this on the news. I remember his historic flight. They didn't however, mention if he'll be doing the space burial thing.
FYI: Like many other threads about noteable figures, Mr. Glenn belongs here--not in BTSBW,which is reserved for those behind the scenes of stage and film.
.
He was the last of the 'Original Seven' astronauts

Glenn was a true American hero, along with the other Mercury astronauts. The space capsule was exactly that, a capsule. The protection they had from the perils of exposure to space and then re-entry, would have made any lesser men crap themselves. We will never see their like again.
"God speed, John Glenn".
So sorry to hear about his wife Annie who died at the age
of 1oo maybe of Covid-19(not sure yet)
As a person who stutters so loved her.
Carolyn(1958-2009) always in my heart.
