Patrice Lumumba Malcolm O'Neal (December 7, 1969 - November 29, 2011) is an American stand-up comedian, radio personality, and actor. They all joked he'd die soon. he was diabetic & had other health problems. But yeah they probably feel kinda rotten anyway.
I loved him too.
He even said on the Roast that he's dying of diabetes. Sad.
That sucks. He was one of the only funny ones at the Charlie Sheen Roast.
RIP Patrice.

He was a really fun guy, gone way too soon.
Sad.
I am sorry that he is dead, but he really wasn't funny to me.
RIP Patrice, I hope you are making someone laugh up there.....

Awww...such a funny dude. Way too young too. RIP Patrice.

This one shocked me .. my thoughts are with his many loved ones and friends.
What really shocks me is that some guy at the Charlie Sheen roast made some asinine comment about Patrice and his possibly having a short life (that paraphrase was nowhere near what the other comedian said, but that was the jist of it). I remember Patrice shooting the guy a look, and his facial expression seemed to say "DUDE, Where the hell did THAT jab come from?" It creeped out then, but creeps me out more now ...
Never heard of him...
He was 4 years younger than me! Funny dude, and will be missed.
this man always cracked me up. Sucks all the good comedians are going up. ugh RIP man.

Patrice was insightful and funny. I first heard him on the Opie & Anthony show and then his HBO special. I'm gonna miss his frank, straightforward brand of humour, he was definitely passionate about what he had to say. I'm glad he recorded a big enough body of work in his too small time on earth. My favourite thing about his comedy is the way it affected others;
"I can only take so much of irrate black man."
-Joe Minicilli, amatuer racist I(eye)talian from Detroit
Rest in Peace Patrice
great comic, he'll be missed.
I know Patrice mostly from O&A, too. He was a fixture there! I was interested to listen to their show yesterday, to see what they had to say. Lots of laughs and reminiscences from a ton of comedians in the studio. A nice way to be remembered.
Loved Patrice on O&A. He had the best laugh. RIP funny man.
Dave Attell:
"Yeah everyone loves him for free, but lets see them pay to see him. We got a purple suit and a giant coffin to buy, lets go people"
The comedians who ribbed Patrice at The Roast of Charlie Sheen weren't the first to make light of the comedian's health and weight.
In a Chappelle's Show sketch from season 1 episode 9 titled "The Playa Hater's Ball" Patrice appears alongside Ice T, Charlie Murphy and Chappelle, as a playa.
Every playa has a name and a claim to fame. Ice T's "OPH - Original Playa Hater", Charlie Murphy's "Buc Nasty - Nastiest Hater 2000", Patrice's? "Pit Bull - Most Likely to Gain Weight And Die 2002". The episode aired on Mach 19th 2003.
I guess the old saying 'life imitates art' is true eh.

Does anyone have any burial information for Patrice?
