Home from work. It is hotter'n Satan's ballsack out there. Listening to the soundtrack from Grey's episode "Song Beneath the Song." When Schmoo gets back from getting his free taco, I'll start supper. Pork chops, broccoli, carrots, and mashin' 'tatoes. Miss Thang is at her grandma's being spoiled rotten and Hubby works another two and a half hours (or more).

Messing around after devotions. Probably go back to bed. I was under the weather all night and into the morning and finally went to sleep and slept clean to sixish pm. Still sleepy.

Watching Grey's and relaxing. Got almost 19K steps today. Spent all day cleaning the lobby at work, then walked home, stopped at the store on my way home, could NOT figure out what I wanted to eat tonight so I wandered around the store....No wonder my peets are throbbing.

Just finished dinner while watching the last episode of Grey's Anatomy, Season 12. I won't spoil it, but I have reservations about the way things were headed at the end. Now, going to nap for a while.

Me, too, Cindy. I'm definitely NOT happy with the finale. Right now, I'm watching Grey's and making dinner. Chili cheese dogs. No, I don't like chili. Yes, I like chili dogs. Yes, I'm aware this is weird. No, I don't care. LOL

Just ate breakfast while reading John D. MacDonald's Nightmare in Pink. I wanted to watch Netflix but my browser quit loading pages. From now on I'm keeping my tablet juiced up. Now, I'm going to either play games, go back to bed, or edit. Hmmm

I brew my sweet tea very similar to the way McD's does. I start by boiling water in a tea kettle on the stove. I add sugar to a huge 42oz (I think) plastic cup. When the tea kettle yells at me, I fill the cup about 1/3 full with the hot water, and stir to dissolve the sugar completely. Plop two or four teabags into the hot water, and let it steep for 5-10 minutes. Remove the teabags and fill the rest of the cup full of ice. I make the tea that strong so that when the ice melts, it doesn't dilute the tea.

If I'm adding alcohol to my sweet tea, and I usually don't, it's whiskey. I prefer to just add sweet tea-flavored MIO drops directly to the whiskey, but that's my preference.

I love me a good grilled cheese sammich. Muenster cheese and thinly-sliced tomato on Roma Italian bread. Cut the sammich into strips and dip in tomato soup... Man, now I want grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch instead of what I have planned.

I just started watching "How To Get Away With Murder." It's another "Shonda Show," it's created by Shonda Rhimes who created Grey's Anatomy. I'm not sure if I like it or not, I'll give it a couple of episodes before I pull the plug on it.

The whole thing with Callie and Arizona's fight over Sofia and the results of the court case surprised me. I certainly did NOT see that coming. I didn't like Penny because she let Derek die.

Right now, I'm food-preppin' for this week's lunches. Sliced up some tomatoes, now I'm hard-boiling eggs. I take a lettuce, tomato, and cheese sandwich; a hard-boiled egg for protein; baby carrots; and a peeled mandarin orange.

I'm sorry, Cindy, I know how much nightmares suck. *hugs*

Right now, I'm piddlefarting online while waiting for Hubby and The Infamous SissyBubby to return from wherever they went. Sipping Diet Dr. Pepper and listening to P!nk.

Anytime. I'm watching season three of Man vs. Food on Netflix. Schmoo was watching with me, but had to leave the room. ROFL. I swear anyone walking by the dining room would think we were watching the scariest movie. ROFLMAO. He kept squealing and burying his face in my shoulder. Smelling the BBQ chicken cooking didn't help matters, either.

Watching "The Fosters" on Netflix and waiting for pizza dough to rise so I can make pizza, eat, then start in on the bottle of rum that has been calling to me from the freezer all week.

Hardly a thing. Son and DIL are moving out and I did a happy dance. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but I am a loaner and having them in my face for hours on end adds to my anxiety. Now, if I want to dance around while I dust in the nude, which is highly unlikely, i'll do it!

Well, since Sissy came in just now and scared me to death to tell me my groceries were on the table, I'm going down to fix my dinner. Oh, and I blocked a friend on FB because she devotes her page to political videos and images, some of which are photoshopped. None of my business, but I'm tired of it being in my face. If I was going to do what she's doing I'd make sure to run all my info through snopes. Sheesh.

Just found out how much Laser pointer + kittens + wife's tush can be. It didn't help that I kept laughing while she was beating on me. Totally worth it.

You are SO bad, Skully! ROFL!!! Laser pointer makes Maxchief go absolutely NUTS. So does the sun hitting my cell phone or tablet screen just right and putting a reflection on the wall. We are easily amused over here.

Right now, I'm grilling some nummy nums for supper and listening to the soundtrack to Grey's Anatomy Season 7 Episode 18, "Song Beneath the Song." Sara Ramirez has a lovely voice, and who knew Kevin McKidd could sing?

Unbelievably, I slept all night now I up for the day. I'll be completed the next character profile and editing my manuscript.
