"A.J. Pero, the drummer for the heavy-metal band Twisted Sister, died Friday. He was 55.
The band said Anthony Jude Pero died of an apparent heart attack while touring with Adrenaline Mob, a group with which he played in between engagements with Twisted Sister."

Very sad and a bit of a shock. I was lucky enough to see Twisted Sister open for Iron Maiden at Maple Leaf Gardens back in /84. Great show might I add. Rest in peace A.J. and god bless. My condolences go our to the Pero family.

Just heard a tribute to him by a fan on Dee Snyder's House of Hair show. The fan requested that Dee play one of their drum solo heavy tunes in his honor. Pretty cool!
