    Mike Porcaro - Toto bassist

Mike Porcaro of the band Toto has passed away.

Sorry unable to post a link here. He battled Lou Gehrig's disease for several years that left him in a wheelchair. He was 59. News reports say he died at home in Los Angeles in his sleep. RIP Mike, your pain and suffering is behind you.

I just read it on TMZ.

Thanks to my dad, I grew up listening to Toto and I'm pretty sure the lyrics to Make Believe and Hold The Line were my first words.

    Same here....may he RIP
To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.

59 of Lou Gehrig's? Man. That's just awful. First thing I thought of was being a roller rink GOD when Toto was at their zenith. Good stuff. RIP man
