True story, Skully. He got hit three times. In 2010, he had a stroke and passed away. Doctors think the lightning strikes contributed to it.

Still no clue what I'm having for supper. I'm thinking oatmeal and toast.....

Burger and salad. I ate popsicles for a snack after the firemen left, so I didn't want more for desert.

I was in bed when Sissy shook me awake.

    "The fire alarm's going off!"
    I said "I don't smell smoke!"

But so what? So I got up and went digging it downstairs and out the door. Cops arrived that quick. Firetruck arrived. Anyway, it was an alarm malfunction. They replaced one or two alarms and left.

Made an amazing salad with soy chicken. I'm about to have to make something for my Uncle to take to work. Last night I made him an egg, cheese, and sausage sub. I also packed him some doughnuts and a pastry to go with his coffee. He works 3rd shift so I usually pack his lunch bag for him.

I was going to make burgers, but we had burgers for lunch so I don't know. Hubby will be at work for dinner, and Schmoo rescheduled his date last night for tonight. No car and it was storming last night. So it'll be just us girls.

To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.

Ronis. Also known as mac-and-cheese, also known as "nummy-nums" in this house. I was going to make chicken and pasta, but Schmoo and Miss E ganged up on me and begged for ronis. I'm a sucker when it comes to them, so we had ronis.

Steak, corn, and more ronis. Kids and their ronis, I tell you what. Tomorrow is fend for yourself, so either grilled cheese or omelettes and toast or sammies. Miss E has sixth-grade recognition at her school at 7pm, we'll need to leave around 6 because we are walking and going the long way because it's been raining like crazy and I ain't walkin' in the mud.

    I want pancakes. But. Not.

Was going to have potted meat sammies until I read earlier that China is allegedly canning human flesh. It looks like powder pink potted meat. Ew. Whether it's just a rumor I am off potted meat.

So I'll probably eat peanut butter sammies and either wavy chips or veggie straws, and popsicles.

Pancakes sound so good! Oy, That other thing is nauseous making. Potted meat, is that like those little sausage things in a can?
Dinner tonight will probably be leftover mac salad, Husband is working so we just kind of do the fending for ourselves thing.
