Waffle House. Bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, waffle. I usually don't eat the waffle, but if I do, it's the next day.

Not sure yet, managed breakfast a bit ago and contemplating lunch. I know. Strange thing for me on a day off. Last night I was too tired to cook anything so I splurged and ordered "chicky nuggies" via DoorDash. Made sure to eat plenty so I could drink....then fell asleep. LOL

Today was a rough food day. I managed a small snack early in the afternoon, and dinner was the only full meal I got down. I took a Lipton pasta side, a broccoli cheddar one, and added cheesy Polish sausage, more broccoli, and extra cheese to it. That was dinner. I was supposed to try a sandwich before bed, but I can't see that happening.

Sammich. Turkey, cream cheese, tomato, and a Meunster/cheddar blend sliced cheese. I did manage two full meals today and a mini concrete after work. So I've been a good girl today.

Ordered Slim Chickens. Ordered a tender meal with fried mushrooms and Diet Dr Pepper, and splurged on a strawberry cheesecake Mason jar dessert because we're celebrating. (Reason we're celebrating in the What Are You Up To Right Now? thread.) BUT DoorDash is trying to tell me something. Every time I order dessert from somewhere they NEVER send it.

I hate it when GrubHub doesn't bring stuff. The last time they forgot Sissy's iced tea, but wonders of wonders they went back and got it for her.

I had a late dinner. The last piece of heated frozen pizza from lunch and a Lean Cuisine Tortilla Crusted Fish on a bed of rice, and Sweet n Low iced tea. I buy the Publix brewed diet or unsweet and it is awesome. Walmart's doesn't not so much.

DoorDash doesn't do that. Because we'd rather they did that, we were counting on that dessert as a way to celebrate. (We don't usually drink when we have work the next morning.) Instead we took an $8 credit, and will probably end up ordering tomorrow night just to use the credit.

That's always good. GrubHub forgot my bacon once. I put in a complaint, and found that the only option was to report something missing from the order. I ticked that off. And to my surprise, they refunded the whole $31 (which included Sissy's meal). So, the next time they left something off, I let it go. After getting two free meals, I just didn't feel comfortable getting two more.

Some Caribbean food. A new restaurant opened up nearby and after a bunch of rave reviews, I decided eh I'll give it a try. I ordered some brown chicken stew over rice with some cabbage and a few plantains.

IT WAS DELISH!!.. I even have some left over for lunch tomorrow.

Ordered delivery to use up a credit from DoorDash. Ordered a Burger King meal with a large Diet Coke (that I'll naturally spike after I eat). Tried to order a frozen cherry drink because one of my child alters saw it and begged for it, but they don't have it anymore. *shrugs shoulders* When they called to tell me, I said just take it off. They had frozen Coke or frozen strawberry lemonade, neither of which we like.

Rotisseries Mojo chicken legs, lima beans, medium baked potato. I may eat a bit of my leftover Mothers Day desert. It's some sort of delicious concoction of cool whip, lime, nuts, and cake that Brittany whipped up. And yes, I am a mother, though my little Carol was born in Heaven.

The rest of last night's Chinese food. Shrimp in lobster sauce with steamed rice and veggies. I had ordered the SMALL portion, a pint, and an order of crab rangoon. The PINT of shrimp in sauce was almost as tall as my 16oz bottle of soda!!!! Yeah it was two meals for me.

Cheesy rice with chicken and veggies. I, too, am struggling with food, getting enough down. Because I'm on the antibiotics for a week I HAVE to eat at LEAST two meals a day to keep the meds down.

Waffle House hamburger and hash browns. It hit the spot.

We were going to have slaw dogs, but Sissy didn't feel like cooking. She got her second covid shot yesterday. Her arm swelled at once, and she started running a low-grade fever. Didn't work today. And I'm by far less a cook than she is. So, we'll have the dogs when she's up to it I'll nuke me a couple Saturday. Lol.
