sucks.. sucks..
Just glad they found her. Sad.
Mental illness is such a bitch.
Its really sad that her family had to go out look for her - and then were the ones to find her since the police refused to do anything!
I spend too Munch (typo and it stays) time working with children and youth trying to dissuade them from suicide to care about a woman who obviously offed herself. That's nice that her family are thinking about that life insurance and trying to say it was an "accident". The only accident is being caught in the maelstrom of hollyweird
Especially being a not attractive enough woman, not in any way. Sure those may be(ugh) Alaska highway hot features but in her game, those sharks wouldn't have to think. And I'm sure they didn't. Don't go to the Olympics if you are a busted leg b*tch. It's embarrassing for everyone. So if she did kill herself (Nooope) good on her and if she accidentally fell off the cliff, THANK YOU CLIFF!

Seems there are some new trolls on this forum lately.
Indeed.
I feel bad for her family. How sad.
I think her family is in denial. Why would she leave her shoes and purse neatly piled at the top of the cliff first? That doesn't sound like an "accident" to me...
Life insurance.. Suicide doesn't count..
It depends-- mainly, it would appear, on how long a particular policy has been in effect. The common exclusionary rule is 2-3 years. Otherwise, the beneficiaries only get back whatever premiums were paid.

Suicide should be covered by insurance. Most times the loved ones left behind would rather them back. Most times. The way the law blew her off is criminal. Just some sad shit all the way around.

Agree totally. People that commit suicide are sick, i.e. a mental illness. I say I can't believe that the law blew her off but you know the more I think about it I can. It seems as if society has still not accepted that depression, bipolar disease (and on and on) are illnesses and not a choice. I have major depressive disorder and there is still a stigma attached. When I tell people I have it they look at me like I'm a leper. Yet if I have an anxiety attack or a really low day, no one is concerned. But if I had a mitral valve prolapse people would pay attention. Depressed people are at a high risk for death too.
Ahh.. Thanks for the info guys. I only saw Misty in August Osage County, but her performance was very haunting to me. You could see it in her eyes.

"I will be buried in a spring loaded casket filled with confetti, and a future archaeologist will have one awesome day at work."
That's ass backwards. You would think that it would be the main reason to locate her. But it is coming from family. So....
I am the king of all things stupid!
Possibly not a suicide?
"Actress Misty Upham, whose body was found in October along a river in suburban Seattle, died from blunt force injuries to her head and torso, the King County Medical Examiner said Thursday."

Sounds like injuries consistent with taking a tumble down a cliff and hitting your head and body on a few rocks along the way.
