Some poster on the TMZ site pointed out the obvious: Two of the young actors who played Mel Gibson's kids in THE PATRIOT are now deceased, the other being, of course, Heath Ledger. While it would be TERRIBLE no matter HOW 21-year-old Skye died, I hope it was NOT from the same cause as her movie "big brother."

More news is coming out other than TMZ crap. Looks like an epileptic seizure may have been the culprit (she was alone) and choked (according to the mother).

Drew's character in the movie didn't have a daughter, she had a son. Skye played the little girl that was friends with Drew's son, in the movie, who grows up to be his girlfriend.
Horrible way to go , a seizure.

She was such a pretty little girl in The Patriot and oh man that scene where she is crying and telling her Dad Mel Gibson not to go and that she'd say anything he wanted her to, makes me cry every single time. So sad that she died so young. And I did not know she lived in Houston.
