Watching Orange is the New Black, reading all the stories that are blowing up my facebook about a guy I knew from back waaaay back when I was still on 3rd shift who got busted with underage pornography today in a sting (when you live in a boring ass town and stuff like this happens EVERYBODY talks about it), and eating some spinach and artichoke hummus while thinking "maybe I should go make something that is a proper dinner in order to prevent me from eating this entire dish of spinach and artichoke hummus"......

Mine won't buy them. At all. I asked him what he would do if I was severely ill and bedridden, but needed them. HE said he'd call my bestie and PAY her to go buy them for me. To Schmoo, the worst punishment in the world is having him carry a grocery bag that contains pads and other feminine hygiene products.

I wish my countdown to my heart doctor's visit in three weeks was as exciting. I don't mind going, but I am always afraid I'll have some test.

I used to be like that. When I was a kid, I was embarrassed about having a period, much less actually buying pads. As I grew older, I got over that a bit, but it wasn't until I met Nabo that I lost my shame. I don't know what my problem was. Maybe all little girls are like that?

What am I doing? Feeling a bit better, that's what I'm doing. Not been sick, but for the last two or three days my arms have been achy. Not hurting, just, kinda sore. I think it's the way I sleep--in fetal position with my arms akimbo.

Relaxing after a day of gettin' things done. Got a Tom Hanks movie I'd never heard of at the library. At first I thought uh oh, kiss of death since I'd never heard of it. Watched the first half hour of it last night and it's pretty good so far.

    [Whole lotta hungry going on]

And what do you know? I finally found the song with baba in it, as in What are you doing right now, baba.

You kissed me baba, woo.....it feels good
Hold me baba, learn to let me love you like a lover should
    You're fine, so kind
I'm a nervous world that your mine mine mine mine-ine
[Goodness gracious great balls of fire]

I am watching Walk With Cavemen docu on Netflix. Pretty good. First of it portrays the life of Lucy--'member her? So she's sitting there in the grass under a tree there in Africa, feels or hears something, turns her head, spies a big old beetle on her shoulder, and pops it in her mouth--without washing her hands. Ew. That put me off beetle burritos for a few days.

I used to be like that, bad. When I bought them, I would go through a female cashier's line. I still feel like that, but after 30 years of needing them, the embarrassment eased up some.

Right now I'm recovering. Sent Shrek home an hour ago and I am still a wreck. He has NO concept if personal space. I kept walking away from him.

Therapy was rough last night. It was so intense, my fear if men touching me was heightened so much that I couldn't even let my husband hold my hand as we walked to dinner last night.

Cleaned up cat barf. Carpet is barely two days old and one of the house tigers already initiated it by vomiting half-digested dry food. Eeeoow.

On the good side, however, it's an easy to clean carpet. Resolve spray worked wonders. Spray, sponge up stain, let dry, vacuum, and no one (not even I) can tell a cat puked in that area.

Never heard of it. It's not on Netflix stream so I probably won't get to watch it.

I just ate supper while watching L&O. Finished watching Walk With Cavemen this morning. It was just two episodes, not enough for me. There's another one about prehistoric times that I may watch. I get on these binges.

Fixin' to make me some eats. Hubby and Little Bit finished off the baked pasta. I didn't care for the sauce, anyway. I've got some rice cooking for rice cereal. I make my rice the normal way, and once it's done I add a little butter. Stir till the butter melts, then add a splash of milk, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I'm having this with some toast. Mm-mm!

I have a horrible case of insomnia which has given me the giggles.

No, there aren't many juices I like. I get flavored vodka, this time I got cherry. I like those flavor enhancers in vodka, though. They have to coordinate, though. I have some "Cherry Icee" flavored drops that I put in last night. OMG so good.

Trying to figure out what's wrong with my cat? She literally on me! She slept on my chest last night, head between my boobs with her front legs stretched towards my neck. Only thing I can figure is she misses me at night since I'm on thirds? IDK? I thought cats didn't care about their owners? I don't know that much about cats, anybody have a thought? It's 11am here and I want to get out of bed, but she's not budging.. I get up, and she starts to meow at me until I lay back down. WTH? She's not sick btw.

I'm just sitting here trying to get some motivation to take a shower and then hit up some errands. I have to go fax in my stuff for my background check for the new job. I'm going to take our new green line light rail and there are some other fun places to stop along the way that I don't get to very often.

I'm also debating buying a ticket to see Paul McCartney at the Target Field. The cheapest I have found is $175 a ticket. I think if my background check goes through OK I am going to go for it. This will probably be the last chance to see him life and I'd love for it to be outdoors in the summer time. If my bc goes through I will also be purchasing a ticket to see The Pixies. My favorite band. They are still available at the venue, single seats only. That show is only like $50 if I go to the box office and get tickets in person, which I will, because Ticketmaster has ridiculous fees.
