This is so sad, and for some reason I haven't liked Jean Kasem. I've always loved Casey's Top 40 in high school. Just thinking about that voice brings back so many memories from high school.

This is a terrible situation. I do have to wonder if the wife knows something we don't. That many years of marriage and Casey doesn't take the proper steps to avoid this? Maybe he wanted her to have the say. Apparently the wife and his children have been feuding for years. Certainly he saw this as a possibility. Or maybe not. Either way I hope for the best. He's an American icon.

Reservation police will usually give full cooperation in cases like this. I just don't understand why no sanctions are being imposed on her for not revealing the details of his whereabouts. The judge knows it's complete bull that she doesn't know where he is. Chances are he's dead and that she is hiding that fact for some reason.
Little side note, I told my honey that he was missing and (like normal) he had no idea who I was talking about. So I pulled up a youtube video with one of his top 40 broadcasts and my 6 year old son goes goes "That's Shaggy from Scooby Doo" After that my honey knew who I was talking about.

Haven't they been married for a very long time? I would be a bit ticked if someone started trying to control how I took care of my husband. The children (from Caseys first marriage) have alleged elder abuse of their father as well as Jean shutting them out of their fathers life. They have not been able to visit him for a long time, she let them come back in Dec for 20 minutes under an armed guard at Kasems home?
I dont know what her deal is, but at this stage of the game, she needs to let his kids see him. A judge apparently agreed. I dont think it will be a happy ending.

I knew that Casey and Jean did have a daughter because I remember Jean describing how involved Casey was with the birth of the child. I haven't heard a thing about her. I feel so badly for Casey. Loved his radio shows and the voice of Shaggy.
