It is wrong to assume all Semitic or Arab looking peoples are Muslim. In my ancestral state of West Virginia there is a large population of middle eastern looking peoples who are Lebanese Christians who were driven out of Lebanon by Muslims.

This is amazing. 3 people died. Theres been larger single killer homicide counts in so many communities all across America throughout her existence and in certain metropolises many times every year yet they get no more mention than a blurb/burb in the police report section/ casual mention concerning individual neighborhoods/suburbs contained within a newspaper/tv stations print media/broadcast area. Personal or domestic violence/homicide on a ten digit scale is barely worth the bat of an eye or a rarely referenced TimeLife magazine article bereft of info but show some gore in public and every concerned citizen cuts their teeth on the bright camera flash reflected off the leg bone and chews the fat of the exposed inner thigh of the medias current tragic vivtim. We are truly sheep more alarmed by random loud noises than we are by the slaughterhouse next to our grazing lands.

I was thinking about this. Though the marathon bombing is, of course, tragic, it occurred to me that more people in this country die at the hands of drunk drivers every day than were killed by the bombers. I don't worry about getting blown up by a bomb in a backpack. I do worry about getting T-Boned by some lush driving a car.

I found this and was news to me...according to International Business Times of India...

Boston police on Friday revealed the names of two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing, one of whom is an Indian origin person, Sunil Tripathi, reported CBS-affiliated television station WFSB.


The other suspect named in the case is Mike Mulugeta. On Friday morning, it was reported that police arrested one of them.

Has anyone else heard about this?

It is now believed they robbed a 7-11 last night with bombs strapped to their chest. I guess all that college tuition made them hard up for cash.

The dead bomber said on his boxing for passport picture that he is very religious. I am going to assume this man is a Pentecostal who loves guns, hates the government, and attends at least one NASCAR race a year, and bought his pressure cookers at Wal-Mart..

I was going to message the family on FB but since I'm not friends it would go into their "other" folder and so few people know about the "other" folder I thought I'd go through the reporter. Thanks for the tip though. Really hope I can help them out. This situation hits very close to home. They said Jeff, jr. works at the Sam's club in Nashua.
