    Ed Asner has been touring the country performing a one-man show for more than three years.


    Legendary actor Ed Asner was hospitalized in Indiana late Tuesday after struggling to perform in his one-man show, ??FDR.?
    But the 83-year-old star, best known for his roles in TV's "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and its spinoff "Lou Grant," was feeling better Wednesday and hoping to return home to California later this week, his son told the Daily News.
    ??I talked to him this morning, and he??s fighting to get out of there as soon as possible,? Matt Asner said. ??It??s nothing like a stroke. He??s just exhausted. But he??s starting to joke around a little, so that??s a good sign. He??s doing okay

    I hope he makes a full recovery. I love Ed Asner, especially on MTM.

    Hope all will be OK with him.

    Enjoyed watching him on The MTM show
    and Lou Grant.

    Love how he speaks out about things he
    finds wrong.

    He's a lovable old codger kind of a guy. I hope he lives to 100. I think he will.

    I met him. He is really nice.
    The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
