it happens though I've known people with terminal illnesses that the chemo or treatments beat it back till it's almost gone but it just returns with a vengeance sometimes faster than before unfortunately. her doctors are telling her that it WILL return it's just a matter of time. everyone's bodies are different though at the rate at which it happens she's hopeful she can get to christmas and imo that's a goal to look forward to considering her situation.

Thanks Gabby. What you wrote makes sense. I will tip my hat to her for her stamina. Sheesh, I go to the dentist for teeth cleaning and I'm wiped the rest of the afternoon. I do wish her luck.

We had a friend who was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and only had months to live as well. He ended up living three more years. He got progressively worse but very, very slowly and painlessly until the last three months of his life. At that point it was horrible and the last month he was heavily sedated. But he was a miracle, no doubt about it. I am hoping the same thing for Valerie. She has always been very likeable.
Any day above ground is a good day.

I kinda do too,..and lots of folks on the interwebs are throwing the bullshit flag...OK she's in remission, but you'd think after the chemo & radiation, the last thing she'd want to do is practice her cha-cha 6 hours a day..maybe it's the cynic in me,..but something doesn't seem right..

And a big Happy Birthday the Ms. Harper. The big 75 years old today!

    Have a great day!
To my Father. Even though you have crossed the plane, you will always be with me.
You were not just my Father, but my hero. My life has been a poor attempt to be like you
You taught me music, vocals, and how to fight. I can only hope I am half the man you are
When I close my eyes I can see you. And finally, Thank you Dad. for everything.

“I’m feeling very good,” Harper told Parade in May. She says she’s still undergoing treatment, but her outlook has improved drastically since her diagnosis. “I keep taking these tests every two months. I get brain scans. They look at my brain, and each time, they’ve gotten better,” she said. She added: “Doesn’t mean it’s gone.”

I'm choosing to believe the doctors got it wrong.

I personally wish her all the very best, always liked her. I have a friend going through chemo right now, double mastectomy, brain tumor and who knows what else. Seems to be responding well so far, she still suffers from a lot of neuropathy (tingling and numbness) and I know she plans to live any life she has left to the fullest, I hope this is what Valerie is also accomplishing!

Sad that any American (famous or not) has to have a go fund me page for Healthcare bills.

We here in Canada don't have to worry about that.(But of course Fox News call us
    a socialist country)
