    Terri Jentz: Thirty Years Later

I just finished her book entitled "Strange Piece of Paradise".

In a nutshell 30 years ago two young women biking across the US were attacked and left for dead in Oregon. Fast forward to the present where she goes back to see what has transpired since then.

The premise sounds fascinating but I gotta say the author delivered up so much more about herself in the book than she intended. To put it bluntly a narcissistic boomer who has dined out on her story for a lifetime. By the middle of the book I wished the person who attacked her had done a better job.

I am ashamed to admit that but gawd when do you stop gazing at your navel and move on?

Anyone else hear about this tale or read about it?

The book doesn't sound interesting at all but I am fairly selective of my crime reading.
