I know it's the store that has everything, but why would Harrods be selling a lion cub?

Had a friend who has his German Shep stolen from him. 5 Years later he was at a park and this big old dog ran up and jumped on him and was licking him and whining. It was his dog. The people tried to get the dog away from him but he called the cops. He had a tatto put on him and told the cops that when they came to the call. He got the dog back and they got charged. This dog was only 11 months old when the stole him from the yard. But this dog loved Frank so much that he never forgot him and Frank was lost without that dog. I believe animals love their people that raise them and that are good to them and they don't forget them.
There is another video of a woman who rescued a lion from a circus I think it was and took him home and helped him get well. It shows him hugging her thru the bars of a zoo. He is doing the same thing as these lions..kissing and hugging..He never forgot the woman who helped him..

what a great story! (except for the guy who got poached)
    there's a bit more info here: http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/christian.asp

l think animals know when you've rescued them (eg. from the pound) and show it in their devotion.

I'd seen that mentioned on the Today show, but that's cool in it's entirety. I laughed and cried at the same time. Great.

as i was about to put this thread up i saw the word 'lion' and i knew this email must be going around. what a beautiful story, it had me tearing up too! what kills me is that when christian introduces his 'wife' that she is also tame. whats with that? how was that love transferred??? amazing nature. i have more respect for animals than some of the people i've met!

the lion will lie down with the lamb folks!

I guess lions aren't always the fierce, prey-killing animals that I always thought they were.
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Didn't know that was a thing...

I watched this again tonight, so awesome how happy the lion is to see them.
It did look like he preferred the blonder guy more than the dark haiired guy,

This is comforting to me, as I'm about to leave my dogs for a year. They'll be in great hands, and be loved as much as if I were home with them, but it still won't be me loving them. I worry so much that they'll forget me, or hate me when I get back.

Hell, I'm more worried about leaving my dogs than I am about leaving my SO. lol

I pretty much stick to music videos. I've watched these many
times and it makes me sad for the 70's when people could actually
sing and the men wore leather pants. (sigh) Australia's treasure,

This is from a real documentary about this bird that could mimic anything, even the camera sounds of the pictures that people had taken of him. However, the guy who made the video took it a little further. Silly, but it cracked me up.

Very true, but those dogs weren't pit bulls. They were Bully mixes.
