On the internet you can be anything you want.
It is strange that so many people choose to be stupid.

okay,only the bottom one works.
I have played this one several times and only one time did one of my cats try to find the other kitties behind the monitor.
There have been times when a cat will scream or meow on tv and it really upsets my cats, but they don't seem to be bothered by these two. It makes me think that the talking cats are just bullshitting and my cats know that there is nothing to be alarmed about. Does anyone speak feline that could interpret this video?
How Kenneth Pinyan got started!!

I don't speak feline but I have grown up around cats. (whatever that is worth when translating cat)
My theory is they are wondering what is pointing at them and what is going on. That they are talking about the person and the camera.
They are not at all displeased by the attention and finally get bored and go back to washing.
lols JefE, that donkey certainly was trying to put the munch on that old dude running That was funny

Well anyone that knows me knows I am YOU TUBE addict outside FAD. I love seeing so many old things like cigarette commercials, hair tonic etc. Then there is the down side. I never used NAPSTER but I know people that downloaded thousands of songs. They have put many music stores out of business. I know a lot of Artists are setting up their own sites and selling direct which is fine, and even upload their videos, but when you upload that audio track to Limewire or other file sharing sites you just screwed someone who put blood sweat and tears into a song. Then the things people don’t want on YOU TUBE. Now if you’re famous, yeah you can have a video pulled, but by that time it is saved and on the way to be shared. In one case a very private video (nothing sexual or dirty) just very embarrassing was taken as a joke and posted on my space and ended up on YOU TUBE. All attempts to get it removed were just ignored. No there was no copyright but in a heart beat one can become the butt of a joke that hurts like hell and may not be funny. If you’re Gerald Ford and you fall down steps, yeah that goes with it. A lot of it is set up to get 15 minutes of fame. So has anybody got ya with the butter on the floor? Like I said the person that I know has gone to hell and back over that. What’s worse is when the kids pay the price.
Tons of old moving images, audio, etc are here perfectly legal. Not only classic television commercials but old cartoons, you name it! Old radio shows, ......

I searched for "classic commercials" on the above site and Reefer Madness came up for download ROFL!
Some odd law.
Yes whats the point of CD's if we're not making any money.
Lots of more recent commercials are one there. Seems the commercial makers don't see the point in charging royalties to show them.
Documentaries are often placed in public domain because the makers want the information out.
Some good stuff here in the documentary section/old tv shows/ etc Some of the stuff is pulled from youtube and google

I know I for one should be completely against downloading music and have been buying from iTunes more so in recent years. I have a friend who downloads free stuff all the time and if I ever dare mention buying it he says "fuck that, it's the principle". I don't get that... the principle to rip off the artist you enjoy listening to? I mean I'm guilty of it as well but never would I try and justify stealing. The correct answer for why somebody never pays for the song they download is "because I'm a cheap inconsiderate asshole and until I get caught I will continue to be so".
if the band is good enough to have more than one good song, l will buy the cd.
one hit wonder? it's all mine.

I need help finding some music files. My library is so huge, I had to put it in a climate-controlled storage. I am going crazy without my music.
If any of you can help me, please let me know. I solemnly promise you:
(A) I will never ask for music that I don't already own and is currently in my collection;
(B) I retain an FCC license, along with permission to use anything covered by BMI, ASCAP, all the majors, so assisting me would be 100% legal, I assure you.
Some of the stuff is hard to find, which is prolly why it's driving me bonkers too. I tried Kazaa Resurrection, then over a course of weeks it's membership shrunk so suddenly that trying to download anything was next to impossible. I just haven't had time to try to find another P2P ... looking for something with no spyware etc .. any suggestions greatly appreciated.
TIA
PS--If you're a wizard at locating hard-to-find music, here's a really rare file I need: "Has to Be," by Madonna. It was only included on the Japanese release of one of her albums, so it's damned hard to find. Good Luck!
LOL Finn!
A fair bit of my collection is "promotional copies" since major and indie labels alike kept me so deep in music that to this day, a few of them are still doing it even though I've told them I'm not current on-air. And to this day there are packages three ^#%!! years old still unopened in all sorts of places lol dang i gotta get to that
Other than the freebies, I've bought every single parcel, no matter what format [I have 78's of Xavier Cugat and Glenn Miller I think, just for example .. LOTTA formats]. Billboard chart history is rife with "one-hit wonders," people who might be counting on that royalty for their health or retirement, and as a representative of music, I feel that is owed to them. <hugs Finn hehe> I can understand how others might feel differently. Am just an ickle prat about music, it's so much of my life
There are many people giving away music for free on the internet too, some really nice -- and sometimes surprisingly good -- stuff out there, and groups that enourage fans to download from their websites. That's their choice, so I can appreciate that too.
I tried downloading a song once from somewhere, but the quality was just crap!!!! I only did it because the CD wasn't available at any local stores. I finally went on Amazon and found the CD...
I love iTunes... easy, cheap, good quality, safe and lots to choose from (sounds like I'm describing the worlds best brothel)
I'm willing to pay for the one song I like, but the old $20 for an album when I only wanted one song...forget it. I'm not thrilled about paying again for intellectual property that I already paid for on vinyl or cassette or 8 track. I'd like to see the artists license the work to me and let the license transfer to new technologies, and screw the fatties at the label in the process.

This is the first commercial that I can remember watching when I was little. The late actress RUTH MCDEVITT is the old lady in this ad for Heinz who feels very strongly about her pickles ! It was broadcast in the mid 1960s. I recall that my father got a kick out of how hard I'd laugh over this; then again, I was about 2 when this first aired.
I absolutely LOVE this one...I laugh myself silly every time I see it...
