he was one of those guys that you know his face but not his name, he was in so many movies. Silence of the lambs and Blues Brothers stand out to me, but I know he's been in a ton more.

He was great in that movie.

I liked his Russ Meyer films. Who'd a thunk he would get regular roles after those movies.

Absolutely loved him in The Blues Brothers. Just checked Find-a-Grave and can't believe that he hasn't been memorialized there yet.

I remember him from Rambo 2 or First Blood 2. and he guest starred on The Incredible Hulk [Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno] but I know he did so much more. RIP Charles.

What I remember him for was his chasing the Blues Brothers and ending up with his trailer in a lake and then turning to the guy next to him and saying "Don't say a fucking thing". Got a big laugh from the audience.

With his accent and all he had a way of delivering lines like that, that made them memorable.

    Spot on John Trim
He had a great tone and delivery. Just the way he delivers that line as he climbs out of the Winnebago establishes his character as a 'good ol boy.' When Belushi dares to ask for the 'union cards' while still keeping the 'good ol boy' smile the tone changes to a dark /anti-semetic one as he stresses the word 'stein.'
This is a wonderful piece of acting. He probably was in the movie less than five minutes and he became very memorable.
