Ive skyped a couple times from my Mom's computer, it's weird, I feel dumb on a webcam LOL

I use Skype all the time. I've paid for a Skype-In number so my ex can call a local number to talk to my son, and I have local numbers for him and my UK friends so I can call them on my cell at a local rate. Yes, it costs, but not much, and no webcam if you don't want to.

That's hilarious. I felt the same way. I skyped with a friend and I absolutely hated the experience. Never again.

I use it on my cellphone. There's no diffe4rence between a non-Skype call and a Skype call. Neither involves video. You don't need to use video when using Skype on the computer, either. When I was interviewed by the BBC several years ago now (after the Sago mine disaster), we used Skype for it. Worked just fine.
