Keep it up. He is double digits in the polls. As for the Piers Morgan article. Joan Rivers also never apologised either.
Donald Trump is making Hillary look more and more like she's going to win...

Ok, let's face it, as much as we all think he's a bit of a joke, he didn't build an empire by being an idiot. He came from nothing, and no one here, including Scott, has the money that even one of his V.P.'s does. Sorry. But let's say we take him seriously for a moment. Oh, and btw, that wasn't an ad hom attack on anyone here, that was simply a reality check...no pun intended. Let's say he stopped making these idiotic off the cuff comments. He's still a single issue guy, jobs. When you get down to it, that is the only area he has experience in. He can talk a game when it comes to the border and terrorism, but half of the people on here could handle a GOP debate. Alright, maybe 10% of us. My point is that he is already failing in some major areas. Firstly, he won't work with a speech writer or a talking point person. He thinks he can handle the world of big time politics without handlers. Bad idea jeans. Secondly, single issue candidates may poll well, but the people who answer their phones don't always get out of their Barcoloungers and vote. Those who poll well early don't win. The last two cycles the early poll winners were Rudy Guiliani and Michele Bachman. Hmmm. Don't see either of them in the final race. Too soon out the gate. He's just a novelty, but he's messing with the numbers just like Rand Paul did.
He is taking on the establishment which is good. I am a conservative but I was never fond on the mainstream GOP which tends to play it safe. Think about something else. He is the American dream. He has good kids, nice wife and is successful. I like the way he handles criticisms. He takes it with a smile. It is a little more than jobs here. When he went after McCain and the VA he talked about inefficiency. something comes up and they all act outraged and there is finger pointing and then it goes back to the way it was.
I understand, but that is all rhetoric. I'm not referring to his ability to grasp concepts. I am referring to his ability to get the job done. We just had eight years of an inexperienced lawmaker. We need someone who doesn't just have the ability to conduct business and have good relationships, which he's already alienating a lot of people. I'm referring to the knowledge of how to be the Commander in Chief of the Military, manage the Social Security Administration, and appoint the appropriate heads of the cabinet. He might be able to be an effective leader in the area of foreign relations.
You'd really trust him with our country? It isn't a company, you know? The GOP field has four sitting Governors and four sitting Senators. They are far more experienced. I think Kasinch will jump. He's the Governor of a swing state. I know he jumped in the race, but wait. He did this on purpose. I'm writing this to get it on record.![]()

So before Obama leaves, you are asking for him to change all of the duties of the Presidency? Am I understanding you correctly? To amend the Constitution, it requires a 2/3 majority of the general population. One just can't say, "oh, the President has a new job description." Here is the President's job description...PERIOD. I really hope I misunderstood you. The President's job is in our Constitution...it isn't a "view" or "perspective." http://www.heritage.org/constitution...ander-in-chief
I said nothing about the constitution. Different people have changed the way the office was held. Teddy Roosevelt was one of them. I see a pattern from maybe around the time of Carter to bring in Washington outsiders. Obama is also an outsider. I only see them mouthing out talking points their handlers give them. I think it is time for a game changer. Even if Trump does not get the nomination I am sure he will be one.

Wow! Amazing. Donald Trump needs at least 15% of the Hispanic vote to win. He also needs a swing state. Does anyone here REALLY understand policy and strategy?! This is driving me nuts! Like talking to a wall. Kasich will win Ohio. Iowa is going to any number of either Rubio, Walker, Bush, Huckabee, or Santorum. But it won't go to the Donald. Same with New Hampshire, although, Bush will probably get New Hampshire.
I want everyone here to know that I am not a Republican, not will I vote for any of these candidates. I just love politics, and I received a degree in Poli Sci from a prestigious school. THAT DOES NOT MEAN A THING BTW! Anyone could educate his or herself on polity and election strategy. However, you have to think about things other than a loudmouth who is the pop cultural equivalent of Kim Kardashian. OH WAIT! That is exactly who won our last two elections, so maybe I am completely wrong!

You are making my point for me. I didn't vote for Obama either time. It broke my heart that I couldn't vote in a presidential election for the first time in my life, due to the fact that the Democratic nominee was so ill qualified. So now it's going to happen again? We'll have a man, Donald Trump, who isn't nearly qualified to be POTUS. He'd be great with jobs, and that is an area of huge concern in my book, yet that isn't nearly enough. Or we are going to have a criminal to choose from. I give the American people more credit. I think they're fed up with the Administration as it is, and given that there will be a huge backlash. They will hopefully pay attention to what America needs, and they will elect someone who can do the job. If the job was only about turning around the economy, I'd vote for him. I would. But that's not it. That isn't all.
HHillary would be the criminal I assume. I actually voted for Obama in the primary eight years ago because the other choices were Hillary and John Edwards. I stand by that but I was never all starry eyed. I took this as a place holder until someone better came along. I do know know what it is about the Democratic Party not vetting their candidates. We could have had Hillary and John Edwards. The American people need a break. I just see Trump has accomplishments. That should be something to be talking about.

I get where you are headed with this. I wish he had SOME experience with military and foreign relations. If that were the case I could get on board, but he's also starting to talk crazy. When someone can't be handled, that means a general can't come in and say, btw, we need to go into Fallujah before things get even more out of control. That's exactly what Obama is doing. He won't listen to anyone else even though he doesn't know anything in many areas. It scares me. But yeah, I did read what you wrote. I got it. I consider myself a common sense independent. I am a libertarian in some areas, and I am a socialist in others. I know some would say that's impossible, but I don't care. I believe in The Constitution above all. I believe that the people should have a voice. Whatever the people want they should get. They just have to speak up, and they have to educate themselves before they do it. I'm out. I've said everything I need to.
This is what he deserves after his horrid comments about John ("The Hero") McCain:

Someone wrote an article about a rape accusation by Ivana during their divorce 30 years ago.
A Trump advisor said:
"Michael Cohen, special counsel to Trump and an executive vice president at The Trump Organization, asserted in an interview published Monday in the Daily Beast that legally "you cannot rape your spouse."

I love it as well. Like you I'm just laughing at the silliness of it all. Donald is just a political troll. He doesn't even believe most of the shit he spews. People taking him seriously have not been paying attention the past 8 years or so. Palin, Bachmann, Ron Paul etc. Idiots with big mouths grabbing headlines that get people in polls all a flutter. They say on the phone they'll vote for the flavor of the week, Trump in this case, and in the booth come to some kind of sanity.... although I'd argue voting for any republican for anything is borderline insanity in and of itself. Donald getting the numbers he is with WHAT he is saying says a lot about that party. I heard a republican say he wanted Trump to win the entire nomination and Hillary would stomp him in literally every state just so the craziness started with the teabaggers would finally end and MAYBE something resembling a viable and sane republican party might come from the ashes.
When Donald said, "I'm going to win the Hispanic vote" I literally laughed. This is fucking GREAT!!!
No one has said HOW Hillary would win because right now she is under investigation.
Wishful thinking again. I do not know th strategy because right now she is behind.
If it wasn't Hillary herself, her supporters started the birth certificate thing.
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0411/53563.html
I can't say I blame her or her people, she had the nomination sewed up until she was completely steamrolled by the Obama machine.
She couldn't even get the Vice Presidential nod because they knew they had to balance his youth and inexperience with an old white guy.
Fun fact, when Bill Clinton was campaigning for president, and the Gennifer Flowers story broke, it was his opponent and future running mate Al Gore who got that story out.

That's not what you said originally. You said and I quote "She is behind". That is what I challenged and proved I was correct. I was never arguing she was down is some categories. I swear to God I just don't understand why some people when shown they are wrong don't just say, "Oh. I was mistaken. My bad. I guess I should have just said she was down in some categories". Ugh.
I would call behind in those categories being behind. The polls were close at the end of the election Romney versus Obama. A leading indication of where the election is being lost is on Questions like 'cares about people like me'. Romney could not project that image. Neither can Hillary. Back to Trump. He is not behind on things like leadership.

Yep. Trump raised his hand and told everyone he will run as an independent in the general. That's what it boils down to, so Hillary can get selected. Rand Paul caught onto that and couldn't hold his tongue.
When it comes to Women Donald Trump will always
be a misogynistic person.
They be leftwing or rightwing, he seems to hate
them all.

Ha! Choice one, Cindy.
Slightly OT here but you gotta know CNN must be pounding on Megyn Kelly's door by now and she could write her own ticket. CNN previously took advantage of Fox's passover of Alisyn Camerota (a real journalist) in favor of talk show host Elisabeth Hasselbeck for their morning drive show. 60 Minutes might be in line also.
