Hilarious!... I love when he gets stuck in a predicament and his assistant isn't there to help him. Haha.
I remember now! The magician was Nigel from Crossing Jordan and he kills Monks friend/upstairs neighbor for finding out something I can't remember what it was he found out

If memory serves me correct the magician was smuggling things in the secret panels of his trip. They checked the weight of the illusions when they borded the plane and they checked the weight when they were loaded on the flight back and they were alot heavier.
You may be confused by my explination but you'll thank me later.

I am a TV hound and I have to say that the Monk series finale was one of the best finales. I wonder if they rewrote the script 10 times before they got it right.

I have to agree with you on that one it was the best finale that I've ever seen even though it was happy/sad and did bring tears to my eyes maybe it didn't take 10 times to write? Maybe the paths for each character left was easy to figure out? I don't know I don't know if anyone will ever know unless someone knows or is related to one of the writers of the show

Loved that show. Reminded me of the old NBC Mystery Series show Colombo where they would show you the crime at the beginning and the fun was watching Columbo solve it. I always loved when Monk got to..."Here's what happened..."

I'm pretty sure it was "Here's What Happend"
I just started watching Monk over from the beginning the last night and I never noticed how young they all look in Season One, or if I ever did think it I don't remember that I did
Funny how back then in the TV show we would laugh
at Monk's germ phobias.
Today in 2021 not so much.
